Since I don't have much to talk about in the way of daily activities (every day is like the one before it--I go to work, eat chow, work out, hit the rack), I'll post some random pics that I have taken and have been taken of me. Enjoy!

Can Improvements

I've been trying to tidy up my can and to make it more like home this past week. Not much has changed since the first picture I sent to everyone, but I thought I would add a couple of more pics to the blog so everyone can see my room as it is now. The first pic shows my new rug--I bought two, one is in front of the door, where I'm standing, it's a lighter shade of blue. Since they're only $10 at the exchange I'll probably replace them every other month since they get really sandy and dusty. CWO Smith went "halves" with me on a vacuum, but it doesn't work very well.

The below pic shows my wall display. My plan is to keep every card and pic I receive hanging until I leave. So, send lots of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year cards!

Our First Mission : 1600Z5OCT07

The Supply Officer and myself were assigned to our first mission last Friday, 5 Oct. Hearts were racing as we put our war gear on and went out to our up-armored HMMWVs. This first pic is of the SuppO climbing to the gunner's turret:
